The Health and Social Care Administration, with its approximately 1500 employees, is one of the administrations in Mölndal and encompasses elderly care, support for people with disabilities, and health care.

The unit consists of 13 social workers, divided into three groups: children, adults, and assistance group, as well as two senior social workers. The position is within the adult group, but we work flexibly and consider the whole, which means that you may also need to work with child cases if necessary.

The unit is led by a unit manager, and together we work based on current legislation to inform, investigate, assess, and make decisions about interventions according to LSS and SoL. We actively work to continuously develop our work by maintaining high legal security, having good discussions, and learning from each other.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of social worker, you will meet clients and their relatives as well as several different professional groups surrounding the client. You will work in accordance with applicable legislation to inform, investigate, assess, make decisions, and follow up on interventions according to LSS and/or SoL. Your assignment will include documentation, development work, and collaboration with both internal and external actors. You will also contribute to the continued development of the operations and to creating a good working environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work or other education that the employer can assess as equivalent. We prefer that you have experience working with public authority, preferably within disability support and LSS. You may be newly graduated but have an interest in working with the target group. You have good legal knowledge of applicable legislation, LSS, SoL, and FL. We also prefer that you have experience with Treserva, IBIC, SAMSA, and AKK.

You take responsibility for your own and the shared tasks with the best interests of the operations/clients in focus, complete what you have started, and ensure that the work is carried out correctly. As a person, you show respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role.

You have the ability to work together with others to perform tasks and achieve goals, understand the common mission, act accordingly, and contribute to the whole. We also see that you recognize opportunities for change and create situations where new ideas and proposals can develop. It is important that you can work effectively under stress, balance different demands, and remain calm in difficult situations.

You have very good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form.

A driving license (B) is preferred as travel in the job occurs.

The employment is a temporary position with a possibility of extension.
